DXA Scan
this takes approximately 5-12 minutes and measures lean mass, fat mass, body fat percentage, visceral fat and bone mineral density. All of these can positively and negatively affect chronic illness, e.g. type II diabetes and metabolic syndrome and contributes to overall good health and wellness and longevity.
metabolic (RMR)
testing
this takes approximately 10-20 minutes and measures an individual’s breath, their metabolic rate-their caloric expenditure, the efficiency of their metabolism – whether it’s burning fat or sugar as a fuel source. An efficient metabolism utilizes fat as a fuel source decreasing inflammation rates and probability of inflammatory based chronic illness.

Max Testing
this takes approximately 5-15 minutes and measures the breath on a treadmill, elliptical or bike for proper heart rate programming based on each individual’s oxygen and carbon dioxide levels. VO2 max has been shown to be the #1 predictor of longevity based on research studies and the Cooper Institute.
